Sizing

Actual jacket measurements:

Small = 12" back panel + 4" neck gator
Medium = 16" back panel + 4" neck gator
Large = 20" back panel + 5" neck gator

Recommended Fit

The fleece belly panel can scrunch up to accommodate skinnier dogs, and you can even wiggle the black slider through the fleece belly strap panel. For length, on shorter dogs, the neck gator will scrunch up a bit, and on longer dogs it'll cover more of their back. If your dog is on the longer side, the back leg straps are optional to use. The head opening is mostly for reference for pittie-types and other big-headed pups! For more info on jacket fit, check out our measuring guide.

The Wilderdog fleece jacket fits over OR under our harness. If you prefer to use the back mounted D-ring on the harness, you'll want to put the jacket under the harness. If you prefer to use the chest mounted D-ring, the jacket can go over or under the harness. A leash clips easily onto a collar D-ring while the jacket is being worn.

Fits well, looks good

Used it on a snowy hike with the dog. I liked that it cinches to her butt and neck to help keep snow out. It's a little smaller than it looks; the chart indicated I needed a M but it was too tight. Exchanged for an L which fits much better.

This jacket is incredible quality. Fits well, keeps my pup warm, but still provides flexibility for movement. Highly recommend. We’ll likely keep buying them as she grows!

Exactly as described

This is a great jacket! My dog is 75lbs and I got the large. With the straps it's easy to adjust the jacket to fit. This kept my pup cozy while we were camping, can't wait for more chilly nights so he can wear it.

Beautifully designed, purchased the wrong size :(

I fell in love with this coat as soon as I saw it and had to get one for my boy. I was quite torn on what size to get him as the size small would have fit perfectly but if he were to grow anymore or gain anymore weight it would be too small and the medium would have fit at it's smallest adjustment. I decided on the medium and it was too big for my little guy. Great material though and super cute.
